Our participation in the Second National Rocketry Competition
At VOLTA Rocketry, we are not only dedicated to designing and building cutting-edge rockets, but we are also committed to promoting rocketry in Colombia. Our participation in the Second National Rocketry Competition is a clear example of this commitment, where we played a key role both in logistical support and in the competition itself.

Logistical Support at the event
At VOLTA Rocketry, we are very proud to have provided logistical support for such an important event organized by the Corporación Alas. This event became a meeting point for the passion of rocketry and aerospace technology, promoting both Colombian and international talent. Our team took on the role of Safety Officer, ensuring a safe environment for attendees and the proper development of the launches. We thank the Corporación Alas for creating spaces that foster innovation and growth in the aerospace sector in Colombia. Together, we continue to elevate our country to new heights.

Team Sirius Shines at the Second National Rocketry Contest
In an effort to continue fostering the training of new generations of professionals in Colombia, the Sirius Team, made up of members from VOLTA’s training group, participated in category 3 "Universitarios" of the Second National Rocketry Contest. Our young talents had the invaluable experience of designing, building, launching, and competing with a high-performance rocket against national and international universities.
The challenge was to reach a precise altitude of 400 meters and deploy a CanSat with a specific scientific mission. The Sirius Team shone with their outstanding performance, securing second place in the overall competition, only surpassed by a Mexican university, which positioned them as the best Colombian team in the contest. In addition, they earned third place in the CanSat category and received the "Best Engineering Design" award, a recognition of their ingenuity and technical ability.
