Lines of work
Aerostructures
This team is responsible for the design, analysis, and construction of all structural components of the rocket, including the fuselage, nosecone, fins, and anchoring systems.
Recovery
This team is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient return of the rocket to the ground. They design, build, and test ejection and parachute systems, implementing safety protocols to guarantee the integrity of the rocket and its payload.
Logistics
Logistics and External Relations team manages strategic partnerships, mission planning, group image, and communication, ensuring the resources and visibility for the success of our projects.
Safety
This team is responsible for ensuring the safety of all operations, from design and construction to testing and launching the rocket.
Avionics and Telemetry
This team develops the central nervous system of the rocket, designing and implementing the electronics and software that tracks & controls navigation, stability, communications, and power management during flight.
Payload
This team designs, builds, and tests the payloads that will be carried by the rocket, developing both the physical structure and the electronics that allow them to fulfill their mission.
Propulsion
The Propulsion team is the driving force behind our rockets, quite literally! We delve into the fascinating world of rocket propulsion, focusing on the design, simulation, testing, and optimization of rocket motors and propellants.
Drone
At Volta, we're not just reaching for the stars, we're also exploring the skies closer to home.
